We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Misoka can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Misoka managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Dong.
Dong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Misoka keeps working. You can see the frustration on Misoka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Misoka postures up in Dong's guard and throws a big left but Dong blocks it. Misoka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Misoka throws a strike but Dong rolls with it and manages to sweep.
