We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Thompson tries for a takedown but Trumpette circles away easily
and Trumpette counters with a stiff right hand.
Trumpette slaps away a takedown attempt from Thompson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thompson shoots in but Trumpette avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little feinted left hand from Trumpette on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Donny Trumpette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timmy Thompson.
