#R1# Holzpoldl takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Holzpoldl shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Holzpoldl gets slowly back to his feet. Holzpoldl takes one on the button. Johnson throws a body punch but Holzpoldl moves out of range. Johnson works Holzpoldl's body with a nice hook. Holzpoldl shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Johnson connects with a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holzpoldl checks a low kick from Johnson. Holzpoldl closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Holzpoldl pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jean Luc Holzpoldl. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Johnson rushes Holzpoldl and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Holzpoldl blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Holzpoldl is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing. Holzpoldl blocking some punches.

Holzpoldl jumps guard but Johnson stands there with Holzpoldl around his waist. Holzpoldl gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Johnson.
Holzpoldl is breathing heavily. Johnson lands a right hand. Johnson working some nice short punches in the clinch. Johnson lands a nice uppercut. Johnson pushes Holzpoldl back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. #BC2# Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL2# Johnson takes the fight into the clinch. Johnson swings wildly with an uppercut but Holzpoldl uses good head movement to avoid it. #T2# Johnson gets through Holzpoldl's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#ROC2# Holzpoldl is rocked! Johnson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Oh Holzpoldl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Johnson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Johnson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Holzpoldl or not. Nice body punch from Johnson. Johnson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Johnson lands a big right hand that drops Holzpoldl! The killer instinct kicks in and Johnson finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Johnson!

#R1##TD2# Holzpoldl drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Holzpoldl controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Holzpoldl sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Myers's guard. Holzpoldl content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Myers wants to improve his position but Holzpoldl is controlling well.
Holzpoldl looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Holzpoldl perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Myers tries to roll over but Holzpoldl keeps him under control. Myers is trying is best to control the position here. #T1# Myers wants to get back to full guard but Holzpoldl has passed into side control. The referee asks Holzpoldl politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Holzpoldl prefers to stall for the moment though. Holzpoldl's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Myers is not content to let Holzpoldl control the position. Myers tries to get back to half guard but can't. Holzpoldl is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Myers's shoulder. That is not cool. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL2# Holzpoldl moves into the clinch successfully.
#TD# Myers gets a trip takedown into half guard.#SUB# Myers is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Holzpoldl controlling the position for now.#T3# Holzpoldl moves into full guard.
Holzpoldl pulls Myers in to control the position. Holzpoldl is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#SU# Myers gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #TD# Myers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Holzpoldl's half guard.#T4##SUB# Myers is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
#SUB# Myers seems to be working for a kimura but Holzpoldl defends the submission attempt. Myers is breathing heavily. Holzpoldl keeping hold of Myers's head, controlling as best he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Holzpoldl slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Luc Holzpoldl dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2##TD2# Holzpoldl shoots in and bounces Myers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Holzpoldl engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Myers wants to sweep here but Holzpoldl controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holzpoldl's corner is telling him to maintain position. Myers has Holzpoldl pulled in close to control his posture. Myers wants to control but Holzpoldl passes easily into half guard.

Holzpoldl trying to control the pace. Holzpoldl wants to free his trapped foot but Myers is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jean Luc Holzpoldl has got the better of the ground game so far. Holzpoldl controlling the action here. More stalling from Holzpoldl.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Myers has his hands clasped together around Holzpoldl's back. He's all about the action.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD# Holzpoldl gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.#T3##SUB2# Myers is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Holzpoldl has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Myers is looking to defend but Holzpoldl has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Myers! Holzpoldl pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Myers taps out and this one is all over!
