#R1# Azevedo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Azevedo digs a good body shot into Bell's ribs. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Azevedo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A punch combination from Azevedo misses. Bell looks for a takedown but Azevedo sprawls well. Bell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Azevedo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Azevedo lands a nice hook to Bell's body. Bell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Azevedo defends well and Bell ends up having to push Azevedo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominique Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Azevedo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Leonardo Pazzini (ranked 5604 p4p, 395 weight class) and Luiz Correia Azevedo (ranked 600 p4p, 76 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pazzini might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Acid Drinkers - Hit the road Jack. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 2 losses; Leonardo Pazzini! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Luiz Correia Azevedo! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.

Azevedo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baby as he jumps to the side. Baby throws out a counter right but Azevedo avoids it with no problem. Baby misses with a straight left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Azevedo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baby sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Baby swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Correia Azevedo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baby ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Azevedo moves away. Azevedo tries to counter with a takedown but Baby is quick to defend against it. Azevedo is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
