Pierda has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A jab from Pierda does it's job there. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!#CL# Manson pushes Pierda up against the cage in a clinch. Pierda is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Manson tries for a takedown but Pierda manages to get underhooks.
#TD# Pierda is fighting off a takedown attempt but Manson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pierda to the mat. Pierda regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. After the fight, Tyson Manson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

and Pierda takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CL2# Goon instigates a clinch. Pierda is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Goon is defending well. Goon lands with a left to the head. Goon prevents the takedown attempt.
Goon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Goon is pressed up against the cage. Pierda has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Goon down to the mat. Goon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duxney Pierda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pierda gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The fighters circling - Pierda throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Goon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pierda throws out the jab. Goon defending well as Pierda loads up on a big left hand. Pierda closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pierda throws a head kick that misses and Goon counters with a nice uppercut. Pierda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pierda is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goon. Pierda is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Goon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters circle momentarily. Pierda darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Pierda looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Goon looks to land a combination. Pierda sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nice uppercut there from Pierda.#T2# Pierda throws a big shot that misses. Goon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pierda. Pierda throws an off balance right hand

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pierda looks up at the clock. Bad move! Goon lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pierda. Goon pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

#R1# Pierda looks to throw the jab but Bell is out of range. Bell feinted with a counter takedown. Bell has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 10th Planet Islanders in the buildup to the fight. Nice cross by Pierda.#CL2# Pierda pushes Bell up against the cage in a clinch.#TD2# Pierda wants the takedown. Bell is fighting it off but Pierda persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bell's guard against the cage.#SUB# Bell working for a triangle but Pierda defends it easily.

Lungerson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fighters circling - Pierda throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Pierda keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Gay. Pierda does a little dance to reset his feet. Gay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gay lunges at Pierda with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pierda's hand. Pierda pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Gay takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Gay takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab from Pierda misses. Pierda scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gay in his tracks. #ROC2# Gay is rocked! Pierda ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Gay's jaw. Gay's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pierda does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Pacheco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pierda swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pacheco slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pacheco is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Pierda prevents Pacheco from improving position. Pierda is trying to get back to half guard. Pacheco tries to move into full mount but can't pass Pierda's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pacheco is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pierda will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#SUB# Pacheco tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Pacheco slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Duxney Pierda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pacheco passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Pierda tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pacheco content to control rather than advance. #SU# Pacheco escapes and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Duxney Pierda. I think Pacheco has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
