Bell jumps guard but Obata turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bell letting Obata take a breather here.
Bell's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Obata just stands there and leans against the cage.
Obata lands a nice uppercut.
Bell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Obata smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominique Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD#
Bell shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bell was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Obata can do anything to dispel that myth.

Obata tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bell cranks the arm and Obata screams in pain! Azevedo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Azevedo or perhaps it was just good defense by Obata, which made it look bad.
