Zapata fails to land with a series of punches.
Left hook, right uppercut from Zapata.
Lora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zapata.
Lora drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Zapata defends it well.
Zapata fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lora has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lora slips under a jab.
Lora closes the distance and clinches up with Zapata, looking for a takedown. Lora pushes Zapata against the cage but Zapata circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lora walks into a stiff left hand from Zapata.
Zapata clobbers Lora with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lora slips under a jab from Zapata.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zapata paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lora is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Zapata throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lora on the side of the head.
Zapata throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lora's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Zapata dives in looking to finish as Lora flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Zapata's strikes! Zapata is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lora's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lora was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

During a confident post fight interview, Eusebio Zapata thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sledgehammer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lora drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sledgehammer, as that shot connected.
A jab lands there for Sledgehammer.
Sledgehammer fails to land with a series of punches.
Lora drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sledgehammer sprawls and moves away.
Lora is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Sledgehammer moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

OQuinn throws a series of punches but Lora avoids them all with ease.
OQuinn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Damien OQuinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lora takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lora takes a jab right on the kisser.
OQuinn missing with a left hand there. Lora was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lora is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
OQuinn's corner calls for a 1-2. OQuinn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lora darts in looking for a takedown but OQuinn gets double underhooks and turns Lora into the cage.
No joy there for OQuinn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

OQuinn wobbles Lora with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! OQuinn dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Lora to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Damien OQuinn opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Brawler lands a jab to the nose.
Brawler lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brawler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brawler went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brawler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Brawler scores with a nice head shot.
Lora is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brawler sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brawler is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Lora like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Lora from another fist facial!

Porto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lora's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Porto connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lora scrambles back to his feet.

Zapata fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lora on the side of the head.
Lora closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zapata circles away.
Zapata loads up on a big right hand but Lora slips the punch.

Zapata clobbers Lora with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zapata sizes up Lora with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Lora shoots in for a takedown but Zapata shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lora shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xavier pinned against the cage. Xavier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Xavier lands a jab to the head.
Lora's coach down at The Island Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lora's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Xavier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lora.
Xavier was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lora tries to move into range but Xavier moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Xavier cracks Lora with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
