#R1##CL# Magumbo closes the distance and clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Magumbo. A short right hand to the side of the head by Magumbo. Magumbo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Magumbo gets through Riggins's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Magumbo holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Magumbo is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Magumbo stops a takedown attempt from Riggins.
Riggins is trying to drag Magumbo to the mat but Magumbo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. With the fighters up against the cage, Magumbo throws an elbow but misses. Riggins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Magumbo lands a knee to the body.
Magumbo digs a right hand into Riggins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Riggins's gas tank. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Riggins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Magumbo after a bit of a struggle. Hildered Magumbo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Riggins. Riggins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Magumbo pulls his leg out and moves away.
#CL# Magumbo closes the distance and clinches. #T1##TD# Magumbo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Riggins can't fight it off and eventually Magumbo manages to take the fight to the floor. Riggins looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Magumbo trying to control the position from guard on top but Riggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Magumbo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. #SUB2# Riggins looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Magumbo distracts Riggins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Magumbo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Riggins's head. Magumbo working some strikes from top position. Riggins keeping moving, preventing Magumbo from controlling successfully. Magumbo is really struggling to control Riggins but he's trying to hold on to the position. Magumbo lands a couple of digs.#T2##SUB2# Riggins is looking to cinch up a triangle. Magumbo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Riggins's body to avoid the submission. Riggins has instead reached around Magumbo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Riggins arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tim Riggins! After winning the bout, Tim Riggins thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

#R1##TD2# Magumbo gets a takedown into half guard. Magumbo throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Fisher to regain full guard. Fisher keeping moving, preventing Magumbo from controlling successfully. Magumbo lands a couple of elbows. Magumbo scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Magumbo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fisher controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fisher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Magumbo is one step ahead there. Magumbo trying to control but Fisher is working from the bottom. #T1# Magumbo looking to sit in guard and control but Fisher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Fisher slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Magumbo keeping moving, preventing Fisher from controlling successfully. Magumbo looking for a sweep. Not yet Magumbo, not yet. Magumbo keeps trying to improve his position. Magumbo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fisher manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB##SUB# Magumbo throws a sloppy strike and Fisher has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Magumbo is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Fisher!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ray Fisher! Ray Fisher tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
