#R1# Carter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wagner moves away. Wagner throws a right and a left that Carter avoids nicely. Wagner looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well. Wagner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wagner lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Carter is looking to counter punch. Wagner tries to clinch up and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carter throws a good cross that connects.

Daniel Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Wagner looks to clinch and Carter counters with a lovely straight right hand!#T1# Carter lands a slapping body shot.
Carter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wagner in his tracks. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Carter digs a right hand underneath Wagner's ribcage. Wagner let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wagner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wagner looks winded! Carter blocks a body shot from Wagner. A frustrated look appears on Wagner's face as he tries to break the clinch. Carter lands with a right to the head. Carter lands a hook to the side of the head. Wagner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Carter gets through Wagner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee calls for Carter to work.
Carter lands with a short head shot on the inside. Carter stalls. A nice right hand lands inside from Carter. A short left from Carter. #ROC# Wagner is rocked! Carter lands with a short shot to the head. Wagner is still on wobbly legs! Can Carter finish him? Carter gets through Wagner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Carter dips a shoulder and cracks Wagner with a mighty uppercut! Wagner falls back against the cage and Carter unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wagner is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Carter screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Carter! Michael Carter spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Gerard Geeson and Daniel Wagner. Geeson comes to the cage accompanied by Slayer - Bloodline. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Daniel Wagner! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Wagner takes the fight into the clinch. Geeson can't get the takedown.
