Dwojacki tries to get to full guard but Snyder has control of the leg. Snyder looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Snyder not doing much here.
Snyder is thwarting Dwojacki's attempts to control the position. Dwojacki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dwojacki tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Dwojacki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dwojacki tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Dwojacki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Corrales. Corrales pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dwojacki feints the counter takedown. Corrales looks to throw the jab but Dwojacki is out of range. Corrales throws an overhand right that lands on Dwojacki's shoulder, as Dwojacki tries to avoid the shot. Corrales lunges at Dwojacki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dwojacki's hand. Dwojacki ducks under a wild hook from Corrales. Dwojacki feints the counter takedown. Corrales misses the jab. A big left from Corrales misses. A left lands for Corrales. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh Dwojacki is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Van Acker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dwojacki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Van Acker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Dwojacki punching from the bottom. Van Acker postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Dwojacki covers up, he's hurt! Van Acker keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Van Acker and the ref steps in to end the fight! Van Acker can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Pope is looking to clinch but Dwojacki is avoiding it.
