Grind closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Myles's guard.
Myles is looking to stand back up but Grind counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Myles. #REVB#
Myles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Grind scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grind wants to pass the guard but Myles is defending well.
Grind not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Myles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grind. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grind drops an elbow to the side of Myles's head. #ROC#
Myles is rocked!
Grind prevents Myles from standing back up.
Grind working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Myles is still in real trouble! Can Grind finish him?
Grind seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Myles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Island can't get the takedown.
Island fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Island goes for a takedown in the clinch but Grind prevents it.
Grind Grind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mister Island.

Island is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Grind defends well.

Verhoeven ducks under a wild hook from Grind.
Grind Grind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grind motions for Verhoeven to come forward. Grind throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Verhoeven takes one to the side of the head.
Grind tries to work over Verhoeven's front leg with a kick but Verhoeven checks it.
Verhoeven changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Grind shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Verhoeven eats them both and turns towards Grind to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT#
It looks like Henny Verhoeven has been cut.
Verhoeven avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grind throws a head kick but Verhoeven moves out of range.
Grind misses with the combination.
Verhoeven takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Verhoeven feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Capoeira throws an overhand right that lands on Grind's shoulder, as Grind tries to avoid the shot.
Grind throws a nice head kick! #KD2#
Grind lands a left and a right that send Capoeira crashing to the mat, dazed. Grind thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#

Capoeira forces Grind back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Capoeira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Grind walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Capoeira drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Grind swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Capoeira's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
