Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A decent looking cross lands there for Persico.
Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Persico steps in with a hook that catches Smith right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Persico follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Smith looks absolutely devastated.

Cortez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Persico to score with a decent uppercut.

Persico finds Heart's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Heart flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Persico lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Heart will be OK.
