#R1# Brooks shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Brooks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Walker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brooks rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walker counters with a straight right hand. Good standup being displayed there by Walker as he connects with a hook. Brooks misses with a straight left. Walker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Brooks fails with a takedown attempt. Errol Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Brooks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Walker tries to get to full guard but Brooks has control of the leg. Brooks wants to control but Walker is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker is trying to control but can't.
Brooks working over Walker with some ground and pound. Walker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Walker punching from the bottom.

#T1# Brooks prevents Walker from improving his position. Walker moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Brooks lands a couple of digs. Brooks with a nice head shot there. Brooks lands a couple of elbows. Brooks preventing the sweep. #T2# Brooks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#CUT2# It looks like Lee Walker has been cut. Brooks looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brooks trying to control but Walker is working from the bottom. Brooks postures up and lands a big shot to Walker's brow. Brooks content to stall in guard here. Brooks wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving. Walker trying to keep a closed guard but Brooks is proving a slippery customer.

Brooks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Walker's head.#ROC2# Walker is rocked!#CUT2# Lee Walker's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Brooks gets to his feet and stands over Walker, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Walker felt that one! Brooks unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Walker from any more punishment!
