No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Eureka being controlled here momentarily. #R1# Eureka with a lazy takedown attempt and Machine connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#KD2# Machine drops Eureka with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eureka looks back up at him and smiles so Machine waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2# Eureka is rocked! We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Machine has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Archimedes Eureka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eureka drops his hands momentarily. Machine doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Eureka staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Eureka doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
