Salo leaves Jansen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Salo unleashes a big counter combination but Jansen bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Salo throws a right and a left that Jansen avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salo stuffs the takedown. Salo throws a head kick that misses. Salo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jansen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T4# Jansen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SU# Jansen stands and steps away. Salo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Salo shoots in but no luck this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jansen is defended easily by Salo.

#R1# Leif thows a left - swing and a miss! Salo throws a counter combo. Leif paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Leif misses with the combination.
Salo tries to counter with a clinch but Leif shakes him off and moves away. Salo tries to clinch up. Leif throws a leg kick that misses. Salo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Leif defends it well. Leif fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salo. Salo misses with a series of wild punches.
#KD# Leif lands a left and a right that send Salo crashing to the mat, dazed. Leif thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC# Salo is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Aki Salo has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leif lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Salo out cold! Salo is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Salo shoots in for a takedown but Morrow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Salo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Salo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morrow avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick from Salo misses #TD# and Morrow counters with a nice double leg into side control.
