Konate moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT2# It looks like Brook Harris has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Konate lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harris backs up against the cage.
Harris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Harris lands with a kick to the ribs.
Harris connects with a high kick. Konate definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Konate cracks Harris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harris uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Konate.
Harris has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Konate throws a series of punches but Harris moves out of range. Harris closes this distance looking for a takedown but Konate circles away. Harris tries to clinch but Konate is having none of it. Konate chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Harris can pounce on him.

Konate does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Harris tries to clinch up but Konate circles away and keeps his distance.#CL# Konate closes the distance and clinches. I was talking to Konate's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Leonardo Konate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brook Harris . Konate is trying to pull guard but Harris has him pressed against the cage. Harris lands a right hand that snaps the head of Konate backwards. Harris landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Konate is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Konate is pushing Harris up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Konate wants to get back to striking at distance but Harris won't allow it.
