We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Macgrzegorz tries to get out of the position. Zimmerman won't allow Macgrzegorz to sweep him here. Zimmerman wants to control from the top but Macgrzegorz keeps moving. Macgrzegorz wants to stand and escape but Zimmerman is having none of it. Zimmerman with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macgrzegorz keeping full guard, as Zimmerman tries to pass. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mcdowell has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD2# Macgrzegorz jumps guard and drags Mcdowell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #SUB# Mcdowell thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #SUB# Mcdowell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcdowell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mcdowell trying to control the position from guard on top but Macgrzegorz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Mcdowell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Oh Wilkerson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Macgrzegorz can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After the fight, Konrad Macgrzegorz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
