and Irwin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Csiki's knee momentarily. Csiki lands an overhand right. Csiki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Irwin momentarily.
Csiki takes a jab right on the kisser.

and Irwin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Irwin scores with a slapping inside leg kick. We've been told by Csiki's head coaches at Shark Tank MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Csiki tries to score with a low kick but Irwin moves his leg out of the way. Csiki throws a lazy body kick and Irwin counters with a leg kick. #T1# Csiki misses with a right hand and Irwin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oh Csiki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A solid leg kick lands there for Irwin.
Csiki seems to have got his legs back now. Csiki bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Irwin's head backwards. The fighters circling - Csiki throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Csiki has his takedown stuffed and Irwin counters with a right hand to the body. Csiki on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Irwin smells blood - he's punishing Csiki with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Csiki has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

#R1##CL# Assad rushes Csiki and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Assad has Csiki pressed against the ropes, preventing Csiki from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Assad fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Assad lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Assad misses with an elbow over the top. Assad gets through Csiki's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Assad misses with a punch on the inside.
Csiki tries to land a knee to the head but Assad blocks with his arms.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Csiki. Csiki wants to get back to striking at distance but Assad won't allow it.
Csiki wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Assad has him pressed against the ropes. We've been hearing reports that Assad has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Assad just misses with a elbow thrown towards Csiki's brow. Csiki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Assad goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Assad has a couple of punches blocked by Csiki.
Csiki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Assad misses with a punch on the inside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A short left from Assad. Assad scores with a shoulder strike. Assad dips a shoulder and cracks Csiki with a mighty uppercut! Csiki falls back against the ropes and Assad unloads with a barrage of strikes! Csiki is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Assad screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Csiki being controlled here momentarily. Csiki engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Alves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Alves seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. Johnson goes for a double leg but Csiki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Csiki continues to drive forward. Csiki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Johnson with a poor takedown letting Csiki counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jrayden Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Csiki scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Csiki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.#ROC2# Johnson is rocked! Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Csiki counters with a nice uppercut. Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Johnson throws a head kick that misses and Csiki counters with a big right hand! Oh Johnson is in trouble here! Csiki follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

#R1##TD# Csiki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shamrock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB# Csiki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Shamrock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Csiki is looking to take a break and control but Shamrock is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shamrock wants to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Csiki in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Shamrock gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! #SUB# Csiki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Shamrock to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shamrock shrugs it off. #T1# Shamrock is squirming around, avoiding Csiki's attempts to control the action. #SUB# Csiki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Csiki trying to control but he's not successful this time. #SUB# Csiki is working for a guillotine from mount but Shamrock frees his head quite easily.
Csiki moves to back control. #T2##SUB# Csiki is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Shamrock knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Shamrock for a finish. #SUB# Csiki is cranking Shamrock's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Shamrock! He's tightened the choke and Shamrock is tapping out!

He must have been working on that in the gym.#TD2# Csiki gets a double leg takedown into Maia's guard. Csiki postures up in Maia's guard and throws a big left but Maia blocks it. #SUB# Csiki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Csiki slips a nice elbow through Maia's hands, connecting with Maia's forehead. Csiki wants to pass the guard but Maia is defending well. Csiki looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
