#R1# Dummy tries to close the distance and clinch but Almazbekov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dummy lands with a slapping head kick. Dummy tries to clinch up. Dummy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Almazbekov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Almazbekov throws a right and a left that both miss. Dummy flicks out a counter leg kick but Almazbekov steps away. Dummy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dummy tries to clinch up. Dummy doesn't manage to clinch there - Almazbekov circles away.
#TD# Almazbekov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Almazbekov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Almazbekov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dummy's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Almazbekov connects with a nice short shot to Dummy's temple. #CUT# It looks like MT Dummy has been cut. Nice strikes from Almazbekov there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Almazbekov stalling. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dummy has eaten all the pies! Almazbekov working Dummy over with strikes. #T1# Almazbekov lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dummy quite badly. Dummy pulls Almazbekov in close trying to recover. Almazbekov postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dummy on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dummy doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arstanbek Almazbekov! Arstanbek Almazbekov tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
