Zipperman sprawls well initially but Foster persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #SUB2# Foster seems to be working for a kimura but Zipperman defends the submission attempt. Zipperman is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zipperman's head. Foster working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Foster is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Foster slows the pace down in half guard. #T1# Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zipperman keeps working. Foster seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Zipperman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Foster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Foster's back! Foster surviving as best he can, preventing damage. Foster trying to control but not successfully. Zipperman tries to keep control of the position but Foster is staying busy. Foster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zipperman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2# Zipperman throwing sloppy strikes. Foster wants to control his opponent's hands but Zipperman gets his hands free. Foster is in bad spot here.

#R1# Bam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Foster as he jumps to the side. #TD2# Bam gets a double leg takedown into Foster's guard. Foster has momentary wrist control but Bam slips an elbow through the middle. Bam distracts Foster with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bam postures up.
Bam is in close to Foster's body, working some short punches and elbows.#SUB# Foster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bam working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bam postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bam postures up.

Bam lands a few punches from side control.#T2# The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bam grinds an elbow into Foster's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bam creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bam working the ground and pound. Bam in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bam connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Foster some visible discomfort.
Foster takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Foster is trying to get back to half guard. Bam looks up at the clock and then as Foster takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bam smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Foster is breathing heavily. Bam is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #T3# Bam drops an elbow to the side of Foster's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bam connects with a nice short shot to Foster's temple. Bam is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Foster wants to control but Bam is having none of it. Foster is squirming around, avoiding Bam's attempts to control the action. The referee warns Foster that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bam unloading with bombs! Bam is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bam raining down shots from the mount!#ROC2# Foster is rocked! Bam postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Foster badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bam around the waist but Bam pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bam is the winner by TKO! Bam jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bam Bam! Our winner, Bam Bam, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
