#R1##TD# Whitaker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Whitaker showed some decent athleticism there. Honsawaskan is trying to escape back to his feet but Whitaker uses the scramble to pass into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Honsawaskan can do anything to dispel that myth. Honsawaskan seems a little lost for a moment, as Whitaker dominates the positioning. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitaker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Whitaker seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Honsawaskan for as long as he can get away with.#SUB# Whitaker has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Honsawaskan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Whitaker yanks on the arm and Honsawaskan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Whitaker.

#R1# Senna throws a half hearted mid kick. Honsawaskan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Senna gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Honsawaskan.#CL# Honsawaskan moves into the clinch successfully.
Senna is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#TD# Senna is fighting off a takedown attempt but Honsawaskan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Senna to the mat. Senna regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Senna is trying to control the position but Honsawaskan postures up. #SUB2# Honsawaskan wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Senna's closed guard. He's half up but Senna has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Senna pivots and extends the arm, Honsawaskan falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Senna! Well done that man!

Honsawaskan prevents Wilson from getting back to his feet. Wilson wants to sweep but no luck. Wilson pulls Honsawaskan in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honsawaskan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Honsawaskan is looking to work some ground and pound but Wilson has wrist control. Honsawaskan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wilson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Honsawaskan throws an elbow that misses. Wilson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Honsawaskan's guard.
