Clark throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Akerman on the side of the head.

Clark steps in with a hook that catches Akerman right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Clark follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Akerman looks absolutely devastated.

Mendes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at King Of Pain in the buildup to the fight.
Akerman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Akerman loads up on a big right hand but Mendes slips the punch.
Akerman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Akerman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Mendes stumbles back but Akerman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Mendes to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Mendes will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Martinez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

After the fight, Leifi Plomeros was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

and Yoshida counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Akerman thinking.

Akerman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Yoshida bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
