A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maxar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Maxar with a flurry of punches that miss. Can Maxar finish him? The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maxar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bill shoots and misses and Maxar makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Maxar cracks Bill with a right hand to the side of the head.#CUT# That has opened up Dollar Bill's cut even more. Maxar cracks a nice hook into Bill's ribs. Bill fails in his attempt to clinch. Maxar scores with a leg kick.
Bill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maxar as he jumps to the side. Maxar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Wilkinson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.#TD# Wilkinson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.#SUB# Wilkinson seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Maxar has recovered full guard. Maxar wants to sweep here but Wilkinson controlling him for the moment. Maxar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wilkinson has picked Maxar up and slammed him! Maxar can't keep hold of the triangle and Wilkinson manages to pass to side control! Maxar takes a step backwards and waves Wilkinson back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2# Wilkinson is rocked! Maxar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Oh Wilkinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Maxar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wilkinson.

Maxar throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilkinson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Maxar pushes Wilkinson away with a front kick. That had to hurt Wilkinson. Maxar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maxar wants it to stay on the feet. Maxar now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Maxar with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Maxar thumps Wilkinson with a low kick. Wilkinson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Maxar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maxar scores with a push kick. Maxar scores with a kick to the body.
#KD2# Maxar drops Wilkinson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilkinson looks back up at him and smiles so Maxar waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Maxar is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wilkinson rather than just go for the knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#T1# Look low, kick high!
