Pimblet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ritchie throws a head kick that misses.
Ritchie connects with a jab.
A jab from Pimblet does it's job there.
Pimblet looks to land a combination but Ritchie avoids it well.
Ritchie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pimblet throws a hook but Ritchie blocks it.
Pimblet swings for the body but Ritchie moves out of range.
Ritchie cracks Pimblet with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pimblet misses with a few strikes there.
Ritchie connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pimblet crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ritchie - the referee stops the clock and Pimblet gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ritchie. Pimblet manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ritchie lands with a right hand.
Both fighters circling a little - Ritchie finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Pimblet is breathing heavily.
Ritchie lands a nice looking body kick.
Ritchie catches Pimblet with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ritchie - that will leave a mark!
Pimblet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pimblet looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ritchie lands a right hand from hell, dropping Pimblet. Ritchie pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Ritchie!
