Corwin Valentine very nearly forgot to thank Pit Bull Development amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Assad misses with a hook. Jienk attempts a counter takedown but Assad avoids it well and moves away.#CL# Jienk has closed the distance and engaged Assad in a clinch.
Assad swings wildly with an uppercut but Jienk uses good head movement to avoid it. #BC2# Assad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Assad looks to land a left hand but Jienk moved out of range nicely. Jienk tries to counter with a takedown but Assad is quick to defend against it. No joy there for Assad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#BC2# Assad pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jienk takes a body punch but keeps moving. Assad scores with a hook to the body. Jienk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Assad tries for a takedown but Jienk circles away easily and Jienk counters with a one-two to the body. #T1# Assad keeps the fight on the outside.#CL# Jienk gets in close and instigates a clinch. Anderson misses the body punch #TD2# and Jienk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jienk. Jienk works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jienk working Anderson over with strikes. Jienk moves nicely into side control. Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Jienk keeps moving and retains side control. Jienk in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Anderson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Anderson tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jienk content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. What's Anderson going to do here then?
