#R1##TD2# Son Han shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Slager wants to get back to his feet.
Son Han drops an elbow to the side of Slager's head. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Slager misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Son Han lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Slager might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Son Han keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Slager has hold of Son Han's hands but Son Han slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Son Han sitting and controlling from the half guard. Son Han passes to full mount! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Son Han takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Son Han has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Son Han lands a big shot there that rocks Slager but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Son Han controlling from the full mount. Slager could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. It looks like Son Han might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Son Han can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slager is looking to escape. Slager is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Son Han with shots to the head and body - Slager looks very uncomfortable down there. #SUB2# Son Han swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

No joy there for Rizky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#TD2# Son Han throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rizky was covering up waiting for the punch and Son Han finishes the takedown easily into guard. Son Han is stalling in the full guard. Rizky wants to stand and escape but Son Han is having none of it. Rizky trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rizky tries to strike from the bottom.
Son Han slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rizky controlling the position.#T1# If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Son Han won't allow Rizky to sweep him here. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#CL2# Son Han pushes Rizky up against the cage in a clinch. Rizky takes a shot to the head. Rizky crunches a lovely knee into Son Han's ribcage. Rizky has Son Han pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Son Han manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Son Han is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rizky to keep the fight standing. Rizky is trying to maintain a safe position but Son Han gets an underhook and turns Rizky into the cage. Rizky tries to work over Son Han's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #TD2# Son Han lands a takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Son Han shoots in for a double leg but Rizky sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#T2# Son Han avoids the head kick by Rizky.

Son Han controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Son Han chips away with some ground and pound. Rizky is looking to stand up but Son Han isn't so interested in that idea. Son Han would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rizky controlling the position. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Son Han engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rizky is trying to control the position but Son Han postures up. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.#CL2# Son Han rushes Rizky and presses him up against the cage. Rizky is struggling to control the position. Son Han tries to score a body lock takedown but Rizky shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That was a close round but I would say that Juan Rizky will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rizky stopping the sweep attempt from Son Han. Son Han gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rizky looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Rizky throws a sloppy head kick and Son Han moves out of range easily. And Son Han tries to counter it with a takedown but Rizky pushes his down on his head and steps out. A head kick from Rizky lands but Son Han takes it in his stride. #T3# Rizky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And Son Han tries to counter it with a takedown but Rizky pushes his down on his head and steps out. Rizky jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rizky is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Son Han can do to turn this around? Rizky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. It connects and Son Han has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Son Han looks for a takedown but Rizky sprawls well. Rizky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Son Han manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rizky fails with a takedown attempt from distance.#CL# Rizky moves into the clinch. Rizky is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Son Han gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Rizky. That's going to take a lot out of him. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Manson rolls with it to try and escape but Son Han cranks on the arm and Manson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Mulvaney shoots in looking for a takedown but Son Han manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mulvaney's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A nice side step and Son Han releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Son Han got wobbled bad by a big combination! Mulvaney presses forward with punches and knees until Son Han stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Son Han closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mick Mulvaney! A very excited looking Mick Mulvaney rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Gay manages to land in guard. Son Han is standing up over Gay. Gay looks to escape but Son Han dives into side control.

Son Han working the head with strikes. Son Han advances to mount. Gay is trying to stand up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son Han cracks Gay with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Son Han lands a big elbow. Son Han fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Son Han tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Gay really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gay tries to buck Son Han off but Son Han takes his back! #SUB2# Son Han has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Gay! Can he survive? No! He's out! Son Han gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
