Boris Bulletzowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Bulletzowich throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Borgvelt tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bulletzowich is in Borgvelt's guard. Bulletzowich throws a big right hand that misses. Bulletzowich wants to control from the top but Borgvelt keeps moving. Borgvelt told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Bulletzowich sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Borgvelt's guard. Bulletzowich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bulletzowich wants to pass the guard but Borgvelt is defending well. Borgvelt keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bulletzowich not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bulletzowich is thwarting Borgvelt's attempts to control the position. Bulletzowich throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #T1# Borgvelt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bulletzowich scores with a couple of nice shots. Bulletzowich is nestled in close to Borgvelt, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bulletzowich has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bulletzowich landing strikes from the mount and Borgvelt is in trouble! Bulletzowich throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Borgvelt tries to hold on but Bulletzowich pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bulletzowich lands a big elbow. Borgvelt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bulletzowich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bulletzowich postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Borgvelt badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bulletzowich around the waist but Bulletzowich pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bulletzowich is the winner by TKO! Bulletzowich jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1# DeVito tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Borgvelt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. DeVito wants to clinch.#CL2# DeVito closes the distance and clinches. DeVito is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Borgvelt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Borgvelt is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. DeVito is defending well for now.#BC# Borgvelt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. DeVito wants to clinch but Borgvelt slips to the side and Borgvelt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Borgvelt throws out a loose jab but DeVito uses good head movement to avoid it. DeVito tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL2# DeVito clinches with his opponent.
DeVito swings wildly with an uppercut but Borgvelt uses good head movement to avoid it. Borgvelt lands with a left to the head. #T1# Borgvelt digs a right hand underneath DeVito's ribcage. DeVito let out a lung full of air as it connected. Borgvelt is trying to break the clinch but DeVito has him pressed against the cage. DeVito misses with a hook from the clinch. Borgvelt gets through DeVito's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. DeVito is trying to drag Borgvelt to the mat but Borgvelt just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Borgvelt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down DeVito. DeVito throws a punch but it's blocked by Borgvelt. DeVito has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Borgvelt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lars Borgvelt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy DeVito. Borgvelt is working DeVito over against the cage. DeVito looks winded! Good body shot from Borgvelt.
Borgvelt is trying to push DeVito away but DeVito has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. DeVito has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Borgvelt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Borgvelt lands a right hand that snaps the head of DeVito backwards. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that DeVito has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Still in the clinch, Borgvelt scores with a nice short uppercut. Borgvelt lands a left hand.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Borgvelt screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1# Borgvelt throws a hook but Turturro avoids it easily. Borgvelt misses with a looping left. Borgvelt slips a jab from Turturro. Turturro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Borgvelt defends it nicely. Borgvelt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Borgvelt thows a left - swing and a miss! Borgvelt misses with a wild body shot. #TD# Turturro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.#SUB# Turturro is trying to work for a kimura but Borgvelt is defending well.
#SUB# Turturro has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Borgvelt defend it? Turturro steps over the head and cranks it - Borgvelt is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Turturro!

Huang could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Huang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. He might have it! No, Borgvelt has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Twenty tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Petersen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Borgvelt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Petersen on the ground. Borgvelt trying to keep a closed guard but Petersen is proving a slippery customer.

We've been informed that Lawler has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Lawler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #KD# and Borgvelt counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lawler! Borgvelt lets Lawler back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CUT# It looks like John Lawler has been cut. Lars Borgvelt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Lawler. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Borgvelt walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lawler drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Borgvelt swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lawler's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A shot to the body from Boban misses and Borgvelt counters with a nice uppercut. #CUT2# It looks like Jure Boban has been cut. Boban with a lazy takedown attempt and Borgvelt counters with a nice uppercut. Borgvelt weaves into range and cracks Boban right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Boban goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Borgvelt is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

enabling Borgvelt to counter with a crisp jab. Borgvelt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Marley takes a swing at Borgvelt's ribcage but misses. Borgvelt scores with the left hand. Marley knows he should have avoided that one. Marley tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Borgvelt swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.#KD2# Borgvelt cracks Marley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Borgvelt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Marley to stand back up!#ROC2# Marley is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Borgvelt darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Marley's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Borgvelt before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
