#TD# Velvet gets caught flat footed, as Fiddlesticks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Velvet being controlled here, momentarily. Velvet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fiddlesticks wants to control from the top but Velvet keeps moving. #REVB# Übensplikt winds up and cracks Velvet with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #CUT# It looks like Reginald Velvet has been cut. Velvet trying to get back to full guard but Übensplikt takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Velvet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Übensplikt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Übensplikt is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Übensplikt!

#R1# Fortune scores with a hook. Velvet looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Velvet uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fortune.
Velvet throws a series of punches but Fortune moves out of range. No joy there for Velvet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fortune throws a lazy right hand but Velvet sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Velvet showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fortune.
Velvet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Velvet moves away from the strike by Fortune. #CL# Fortune drives through and clinches with Velvet against the cage.
Velvet tries to break free but Fortune pushes him back against the cage. Velvet has had enough of the clinch but Fortune keeps him there for the moment. Fortune is leaning against Velvet and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Fortune digs a right hand underneath Velvet's ribcage. Velvet let out a lung full of air as it connected. Fortune presses Velvet against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Fortune lands a right hand that snaps the head of Velvet backwards. Fortune just leaning against Velvet, taking a breather. Fortune lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Velvet backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fortune digs a right hand into Velvet's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Velvet's gas tank. Velvet looks winded! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fortune takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #R1# Sloppy strikes from Velvet. Those never looked like landing. Elsa shoots in for a takedown but Velvet shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Velvet works over Elsa's head and body with a nice combination. Elsa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Velvet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Elsa closes the distance and clinches up with Velvet, looking for a takedown. Elsa pushes Velvet against the cage but Velvet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Queen Elsa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elsa dives in for a single leg takedown but Velvet sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Some wild striking there from Velvet.
Velvet misses with a few strikes there.
Elsa swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!#KD2# Velvet throws a left that rocks Elsa and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Velvet dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Elsa regain composure!

Velvet batters Elsa with a massive right followed by a huge left! Elsa is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Velvet lands a final crushing right hand to drop Elsa to the mat with a gruesome thud! Velvet is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Velvet throws a right and a left that Brinkwater avoids nicely. A combination from Velvet does no damage. Velvet lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Velvet.#CUT# It looks like Simon Brinkwater has been cut. Velvet looks to land a combination but Brinkwater avoids it well. #TD2# Brinkwater closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Brinkwater passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Velvet! This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brinkwater cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brinkwater prevents Velvet from getting the reversal. Brinkwater wants to control the pace but Velvet is squirming around nicely. Velvet on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Velvet tries to get out of the position. Brinkwater dominating with strikes here. Brinkwater scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Velvet?

Velvet takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Brinkwater's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Velvet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Brandis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Velvet tries to bum rush Heavy with a series of wild strikes but Heavy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Velvet misses. Reginald Velvet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Velvet throws a series of punches but Heavy moves out of range. Heavy throws a hook but Velvet blocks it. Velvet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Velvet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Fortuyn thows a body kick. Velvet tries to catch it but that hurt him. Fortuyn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Velvet under the eye. Velvet has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Fortuyn. Velvet has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Velvet there as he acknowledges the shot. Jab by Fortuyn. Velvet misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fortuyn digs a good body shot into Velvet's ribs. Velvet takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Pothier tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Velvet defends well and Pothier ends up having to push Velvet into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pothier throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Velvet's waist but Velvet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pothier off to one side. Velvet throws a series of punches but Pothier avoids them all with ease. A punch combination from Velvet misses. A combination from Velvet does no damage. Velvet stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrice Pothier. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Pothier closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pothier lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pothier stands up over Velvet, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Velvet wants to get back to his feet but Pothier passes into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pack connects with a nice short shot to Velvet's temple. #R1# Velvet lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lipinsky circles away quickly and effectively. Lipinsky throwing a counter right hand but Velvet manages to avoid it. Velvet throws a series of punches but Lipinsky moves out of range. Velvet throws a combination that misses and Lipinsky counters with a nice body shot. Reginald Velvet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Velvet swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A quick step to the side and Lipinsky tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.#KD2# Velvet lands a left and a right that send Lipinsky crashing to the mat, dazed. Velvet thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT2# It looks like Nathan Lipinsky has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Velvet connects with a nice cross there... Lipinsky is looking wobbly and Velvet recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lipinsky to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Velvet jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Velvet sprawls well initially but Smash persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #SUB2# Smash seems to be working for a kimura but Velvet defends the submission attempt. Velvet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Smash might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Velvet haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
