#R1# Vlasov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #CL2# Davis instigates a clinch. Davis pressing his opponent against the cage. Davis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vlasov to keep the fight standing. A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis. Vlasov misses with some punches.
Vlasov being controlled against the cage. Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vlasov walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Vlasov finds it's way through Davis's defenses. Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vlasov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vlasov throws a wild body kick that Davis sees coming a mile off. Vlasov doesn't manage to clinch there - Davis circles away.

Davis manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've been hearing reports that Vlasov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Vlasov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Davis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vlasov smiles and moves away.
Oleg Vlasov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Davis. Vlasov lands with a good body shot.#TD# Vlasov drives through with a takedown into guard. Vlasov wants to stand but Davis has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #T2# Davis doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Vlasov working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Davis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vlasov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Davis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Vlasov closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Vlasov pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#T3# Vlasov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Davis's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Davis wants to take the fight to the mat but Vlasov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Vlasov takes a knee right on the jaw!

Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vlasov pinned against the cage. Vlasov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #TD# Vlasov dives in and scores a takedown into Davis's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vlasov landing small, sideways elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vlasov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vlasov somewhat. Vlasov fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vlasov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vlasov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. James Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Davis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Davis throws a lazy right hand but Vlasov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Vlasov shoots in but no luck this time. Davis is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Davis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Vlasov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Vlasov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#SUB2# Davis has his foot on Vlasov's thigh. Sloppy strikes from Vlasov. Those never looked like landing. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Vlasov tries to clinch there but Davis circles away.
Davis moves out of range as Vlasov strikes. Despite the aggression on Davis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.#CL2# Davis takes the fight into the clinch. Vlasov has had enough of the clinch but Davis keeps him there for the moment.#TD2# Davis gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vlasov regains guard.
Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vlasov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Davis trying to control but Vlasov is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Vlasov is pulling down on Davis's head to control his posture.
And that's the end of the fight! James Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Davis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Davis blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hicks lands a shoulder strike. Davis trying to stall but Hicks improves his position.
Davis blocks an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hicks digs a right hand underneath Davis's ribcage. Davis let out a lung full of air as it connected. Davis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Still in the clinch, Hicks scores with a nice short uppercut.#TD2# Davis jumps guard.
Hicks lands a couple of decent looking shots. Davis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hicks is one step ahead there. #T1# Hicks throws a big right hand that misses. Hicks tries to free his leg and advance position but Davis is retaining full guard. Hicks throws an elbow that misses. Davis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hicks's guard. Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hicks tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hicks to the ground. Hicks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hicks fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Hicks misses the target. Davis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hicks. Davis avoids the body shot from Hicks.

Bill Hicks dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Hicks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davis was well out of range. Poor timing from Hicks. Hicks moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hicks connects with a single shot there.#ROC# Davis is rocked! Davis fails with the takedown and Hicks counters with a big left hand that crumples Davis! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bill Hicks! In his post fight interview, Bill Hicks started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
