#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD2# Aarnio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Toguchi's half guard. Aarnio prevents Toguchi from standing back up.
Toguchi is trying to escape back to his feet but Aarnio uses the scramble to pass into side control.
#SUB2# Aarnio wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Toguchi, who protects the arm well. Toguchi is being controlled here. Aarnio is looking to take a break and control but Toguchi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #SUB2# Aarnio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Toguchi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Aarnio yanks on the arm and Toguchi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Aarnio.

After the fight, Jari Aarnio was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Toguchi is looking to score with low kicks. A looping hook to the body misses from Toguchi. King does a little dance to reset his feet.#TD# King gets the takedown into side control. King tries to advance to mount but Toguchi denies him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King happy to just control the position for now. Toguchi is trying to buck King off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# King is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Toguchi looks calm but he's in trouble here. King gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Toguchi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! King lets go of the hold and Toguchi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Karl King! An intense looking Karl King took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I am the KING COBRA I'm looking to put the squeeze on everyone in the division let's keep it going!!!'.

#R1##TD# Toguchi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.#SUB2# Petkov looking for submissions off his back. Petkov is not content to let Toguchi control the position. Petkov throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Toguchi manages to pass to side control. #SUB# Toguchi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Petkov has escaped the position, nice work there. Toguchi avoids the strikes from the bottom by Petkov. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petkov is looking to reverse the position. Toguchi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Petkov down.
#T1# Toguchi trying to control the position but Petkov is working away. Petkov tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Toguchi advances nicely into full mount. Toguchi avoids the attempt from Petkov to control. Petkov is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.#SUB# Petkov tries to improve his position but Toguchi has taken his back! Toguchi has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Petkov tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Toguchi pushes Petkov away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

#R1##TD# Toguchi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Toguchi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Toguchi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Toguchi wants to pass to mount but Price is defending the position. Price keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Price wants to control but Toguchi is keeping busy.
Toguchi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Price blocking the ground and pound attempt from Toguchi. #T1# Price avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Toguchi. Price trying to control here.
Toguchi throwing shots but Price is blocking nicely. Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toguchi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Toguchi content to control rather than advance. Ground and pound from Toguchi. Toguchi is looking to advance position but Price won't allow it. Toguchi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Price's head. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Toguchi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Toguchi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Price! Price is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. #SUB# Toguchi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Price can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

#R1# Milton takes one to the chin there. Toguchi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Toguchi lands with a short head shot on the inside. #BC# Toguchi manages to break the clinch.
Milton slips a jab and a cross from Toguchi.
Despite the aggression on Milton's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Toguchi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Milton is looking for the big counter here. Toguchi throws a leg kick but Milton sees it coming and moves out of range. As Toguchi backs off Milton throws a huge counter combo but Toguchi manages to avoid it all. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An inside leg kick lands from Toguchi. Milton slips under a jab from Toguchi.#CL# Toguchi pushes Milton up against the cage in a clinch.#BC# Toguchi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#T1# Toguchi thumps Milton with a low kick.#TD# Toguchi drives through with a takedown into Milton's guard. Toguchi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Milton works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Toguchi tries to free his leg and advance position but Milton is retaining full guard. Toguchi advances position into side control! Toguchi has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Milton! Milton tries to hold on but Toguchi pushes him away. A nice elbow there by Toguchi.#T3# Toguchi breaks from Milton's wrist control and lands an elbow. Toguchi landing strikes, looking to finish! Milton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Milton squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

#R1##TD# Toguchi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steve napping and manages to drive through into side control! Steve taking punishment in the form of punches.
Toguchi working away. Steve is looking for a sweep. Toguchi controlling from side mount. Check out the look on Toguchi's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Toguchi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steve can do anything to dispel that myth. Toguchi lands a nice forearm strike. Steve is trying to get back to half guard. Steve is trying to control Toguchi's posture but Toguchi avoids it. Toguchi scoring with punches and elbows. #T1# Toguchi is working Steve over with some ground and pound from side control. Toguchi just content to control the position. Toguchi working the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.#SUB# Toguchi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Toguchi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Steve! Toguchi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Steve's face.
