Levert has a takedown stuffed.#TD2# Levert drives through with a takedown into guard. Franco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Franco tries to get out of the position. Franco is trying to keep Levert in close.
Franco keeping moving, preventing Levert from controlling successfully. Levert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Franco swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levert makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Franco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB2# Levert has his foot on Franco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Franco works his way back into a safe position though.#T3# Franco throws a big elbow that misses. Levert lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Franco is trying to keep Levert in close.

Franco wants to pass the guard but Levert is keeping the position. Pena tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #CL2# Pena forces Levert back against the cage and clinches. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Good body shot from Pena.
Levert is looking to take this one to the mat. Levert changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pena fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pena looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pena tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Levert showed some decent athleticism there. Smith controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Levert working the head and body with strikes. Smith trying to control from the bottom.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Levert on the ground. Smith slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levert landing with the ground and pound. That's better than Jims was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! A bit of a lull in the action here. Levert is trying to get back to half guard. Jims is looking to take a break and control but Levert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Levert looking for a sweep but Jims has passed into full mount! Oh no! Levert is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
