Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sanders does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Johnson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Sanders regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Johnson. #ES# Sanders has his feet on Johnson's hips. Aitken fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Aitken lands with a good body shot. Aitken smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Aitken moves in looking to clinch but Sanders pushes him off. Sanders appears to be looking for a big counter. Aitken lands a jab to the nose. Sanders fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Aitken tries to clinch up. As Aitken looks to move away, Sanders throws a big counter combo but Aitken just gets out of the way. Aitken is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Aitken looks for a takedown but Sanders sprawls well. Sanders shoots in looking for a takedown. Odla tries to sprawl out of it but Sanders keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Odla manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Odla pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sanders back to the cage. Odla follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.#CUT2# It looks like Avery Sanders has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanders gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sanders tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Odla is headhunting and goes for the kill.
