#R1##TD2# Salvatore closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #SUB2# Salvatore has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Henney defend it? Salvatore steps over the head and cranks it - Henney is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Salvatore!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Enzo Salvatore! As Enzo Salvatore got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I would like to thank Aspire and Kaiser Nutrition, those guys are the best!'.

#R1# Silva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva with the counter takedown but Henney avoids it easily. Henney moves out of range of the leg kick from Silva. Henney ducks under a wild hook from Silva. Henney tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range. Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Henney. Henney gets slowly back to his feet. Henney chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Henney closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Henney pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva with the counter takedown but Henney avoids it easily. Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Silva leaves Henney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam Henney. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva throws a leg kick that misses. Silva just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromHenney. Henney doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.

Henney walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Henney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.#T1##CL# Silva tries to keep at a distance but Henney has taken the fight into the clinch. Henney has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.#TD2# Silva gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Silva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Henney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground. Henney looking for a sweep. Not yet Henney, not yet. Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position. Silva won't allow Henney to sweep him here. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Henney works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Silva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva taking a breather here. #T2##SUB2# Silva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Henney looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Henney is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Henney can pop his arm back in it's socket.
