#R1##TD2# Tasker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gridin wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tasker connects with a nice short shot to Gridin's temple. Tasker with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Gridin is defending against the submission attempts here by Tasker.
#T1# Tasker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Tasker is pressing down on Gridin's thigh, looking to free his foot. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#ES2# Tasker has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gridin has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Gridin has had enough of the clinch but Tasker keeps him there for the moment. Tasker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gridin walks away with a smile on his face. Tasker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2# Tasker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tasker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gridin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tasker asserts his dominance and retains side control. We've been hearing good reports from Gridin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.#SUB2# Tasker is working to tighten his grip on Gridin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gridin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tasker is really squeezing tight and eventually Gridin passes out! Tasker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Gridin throws a low kick, looking for Riggs's leg but Riggs calmly moves out of range. Riggs is looking to clinch but Gridin is avoiding it.

Kuzma Gridin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gridin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Gridin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Riggs throws a right hand that Gridin ducks under and follows up with a left that Gridin also avoids with ease. Gridin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Gridin fails to land the takedown. Saul Riggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuzma Gridin. Gridin looks winded! Gridin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Riggs circles away. Gridin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Gridin is looking to slow Riggs down with leg kicks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Riggs fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Riggs is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A head kick from Gridin lands but Riggs takes it in his stride. Gridin is breathing heavily. Gridin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Riggs.

Gridin throws a leg kick which misses Riggs's front leg but catches the back leg as Riggs tries to avoid it. Riggs fails with an attempt to clinch.

Gridin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Riggs wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Gridin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riggs's waist but Riggs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gridin off to one side. Kuzma Gridin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gridin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riggs paws at him with a jab and circles away.#CL# Riggs closes the distance and pushes Gridin back into the cage. Riggs is trying to break the clinch but Gridin has him pressed against the cage. Gridin prevents the takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! Kuzma Gridin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gridin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Kuzma Gridin! A less than humble Kuzma Gridin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
