Torped manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Torped lands a body punch. Obasi jumps guard but Torped turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Torped creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Torped lands a nice shot to the body. #BC# Torped pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Obasi goes for a double leg but Torped avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Torped continues to drive forward. Ture Torped has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Obasi. Torped jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Torped can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Obasi is looking to escape. You get the feeling that Obasi really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Torped punching from mount but Obasi doing a good job of avoiding damage. Torped working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Obasi slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Denille punishes Obasi's body with a nice straight punch. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Denille, right into the meat.
Obasi wants to clinch. Denille throws a head kick that half lands.
#CUT# It looks like Solomon Obasi has been cut. Obasi wants to clinch and Denille makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Denille scores with a crisp jab that stopped Obasi in his tracks. Obasi throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Denille counters with a nice low kick that buckles Obasi's knee momentarily. Denille chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Denille throws a quick inside leg kick. #T1##CL# Denille fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Obasi, pushing him back against the cage. Denille digs a right hand underneath Obasi's ribcage. Obasi let out a lung full of air as it connected. Obasi looks winded! Denille working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Denille scores with a shot to the side of Obasi's head. A nice left hand lands by Denille.

This has been an exciting period of action! Obasi is not content to let Denille control the position. Obasi takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
