#R1# Sugo slaps away a takedown attempt from Zipe, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sugo darts in looking for a takedown but Zipe gets double underhooks and turns Sugo into the cage. #CL2# Sugo closes the distance and clinches. Zipe working hard to break the clinch. Zipe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sugo after a bit of a struggle. Sugo gets underhooks to prevent Zipe's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Zipe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zipe is trying to force a seperation but Sugo has the dominant position. Zipe tries to circle away but Sugo has him pinned against the cage. Zipe gets underhooks to prevent Sugo's takedown attempt.

#SUB# Zipe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sugo is fighting to break Zipe's control of his arms but Zipe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.#T1# Zipe wants to sweep here but Sugo controlling him for the moment. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sugo has eaten all the pies!#SUB# Sugo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zipe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sugo has managed to get both his arms back between Zipe's legs - danger averted. Zipe has control of Sugo's left arm, preventing Sugo from doing any damage. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Zipe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Zipe throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Zipe prevents Sugo from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zipe wants to pass to mount but Sugo is defending the position. Zipe perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sugo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T3##ES2# Sugo pushes Zipe off and gets back to his feet. Zipe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#CL# Zipe gets a clinch. Zipe is trying to push Sugo away but Sugo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Zipe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sugo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Zipe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sugo tries to pull guard but Zipe won't allow it.

Zipe is looking to break free of the clinch but Sugo has double underhooks. #TD# Zipe jumps guard and drags Sugo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zipe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sugo manages to get himself to full guard.

#TD# Zipe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sugo uses from the top position. Sugo throwing strikes but missing. Zipe pulls Sugo in close to his closed guard and prevents Sugo from doing any damage or advancing position.#T2# Zipe throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Sugo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zipe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zipe seems keen to control Sugo's posture. Sugo presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Sugo is breathing heavily.#TD# Zipe pulls guard effortlessly. #SUB# Sugo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

#REVR# We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sugo can do anything to dispel that myth.#T4##SU# Zipe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zipe slaps away a takedown attempt from Sugo, before circling back to the center of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sugo is defended easily by Zipe. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sugo feints and then cracks Zipe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Zipe down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn Zipe dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3# Zipe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sugo but Sugo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Zipe scores with a hook. Sugo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Shawn Zipe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sugo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sugo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Zipe looking for a sweep. Not yet Zipe, not yet. Zipe pulls Sugo in close to his closed guard and prevents Sugo from doing any damage or advancing position. Zipe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sugo can do to turn this around? Zipe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zipe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sugo pinned against the cage. Sugo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Zipe. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#CL# Sugo tries to keep at a distance but Zipe has taken the fight into the clinch. Sugo tries to stall but Zipe uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Sugo pushes off an throws an elbow but Zipe leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Sugo fails to pull guard.

Zipe has his hands on Sugo's head, controlling the position. #T3# Zipe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Zipe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Sugo trying to hold on to Zipe's head to control him but Zipe postures up.
#SUB# Zipe wants to work for an arm triangle but Sugo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zipe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Sugo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Zipe. #SU# Zipe decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. #CL# Zipe gets a clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sugo wants to take the fight to the mat but Zipe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sugo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sugo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zipe pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vale Sugo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Shawn Zipe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.#CL# Zipe closes the distance and clinches.
And that's the end of the fight! Shawn Zipe showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zipe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
