#R1# Acid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tuctic manages to avoid it. Tuctic feints the counter takedown. Tuctic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Acid connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT# It looks like Sanu Tuctic has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Acid. No joy for Tuctic on that attempt. Acid is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Acid scores with a jab. Tuctic acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tuctic shoots and misses and Acid counters with a lovely shot to the body. Uncle Acid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanu Tuctic. Tuctic looks up at the clock. Bad move! Acid lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tuctic. Acid pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Tuctic takes a body punch but keeps moving. #TD2# Tuctic fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adams sprawls well initially but Tuctic persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tuctic seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Adams is trying to control but Tuctic manages to pass to mount!
Tuctic content just to control the position here. #SUB2# Tuctic jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Adams is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Adams and Tuctic has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Adams has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Adams wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!#T1# Adams managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tuctic.

Tuctic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tuctic somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tuctic drops his hands momentarily and Adams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bulletzowich did well to prevent Tuctic getting side control. Tuctic wants to control but Bulletzowich is keeping him busy. Bulletzowich trying to hold on to Tuctic's head to control him but Tuctic postures up.
Bulletzowich is looking for a sweep. Tuctic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tuctic fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A counter left hand to the body from Vasquez misses its target. Tuctic dives in for a single leg takedown but Vasquez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A counter left hand to the body from Vasquez misses its target. Tuctic darts in looking for a takedown but Vasquez gets double underhooks and turns Tuctic into the cage. Juan Vasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanu Tuctic. Vasquez throws a shot from downtown. Tuctic moves away and avoids it. Vasquez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#CUT# It looks like Sanu Tuctic has been cut. Vasquez misses with a body shot.

Tuctic takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Vasquez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Tuctic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vasquez avoids it really well and circles away. Vasquez is looking for a counter combo.#T2# Vasquez cracks Tuctic with a good jab.#ROC# Tuctic is rocked! Vasquez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tuctic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tuctic is still on wobbly legs! Can Vasquez finish him? Tuctic looks winded! Vasquez lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Tuctic head around and knocks him out cold! Vasquez hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juan Vasquez! In his post fight interview, Juan Vasquez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Tuctic tries for a takedown but Payne circles away easily and Payne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jab by Payne. Tuctic takes a body punch but keeps moving. Tuctic fails with the takedown and Payne cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Payne ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tuctic with a poor takedown and Payne counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sanu Tuctic. That's going to take a lot out of him. A jab from Payne does it's job there. Payne connects with a body shot that sends Tuctic's belly button to the back. Payne displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. #CUT2# It looks like Sanu Tuctic has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tuctic misses with a takedown and Payne counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #R1# Jaa just misses with a punch to the body.
Jaa goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.#CUT# It looks like Sanu Tuctic has been cut. Jaa pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Tuctic shoots and misses and Jaa counters with a stiff right hand. Jaa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tuctic closes the distance and clinches up with Jaa, looking for a takedown. Tuctic pushes Jaa against the cage but Jaa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It looked like Jaa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Tuctic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jaa as he avoids it easily. Tony Jaa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanu Tuctic. Tuctic with a poor takedown and Jaa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tuctic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jaa avoids it really well and circles away. Jaa cracks Tuctic with an open hand slap.#T1# Jaa throws out a powerful jab. Jaa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tuctic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jaa counters with a straight right hand. Jaa feints a jab promting Tuctic to slip. Jaa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tuctic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Jaa throws a good cross that connects.
Tuctic ducks under a wild hook from Jaa. Jaa closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tuctic! Jaa dives in looking to finish! Tuctic is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
