We've been hearing reports that Svendettee has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Butler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Svendettee tries to avoid it but Butler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Svendettee to the ground. Svendettee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bassi shoots for a takedown but Svendettee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

It looks like Leleo Bassi has been cut.
Bassi shoots in for a takedown but Svendettee shows good takedown defense.
It looked like Svendettee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Svendettee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bassi.
Svendettee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bassi doesn't seem bothered though.
Svendettee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Svendettee cracks Bassi on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bassi falls backwards against the cage. Svendettee follows up with more strikes that drop Bassi to his knees. Svendettee keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bassi! This one is all over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Miller has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Grylls shoots in for a takedown but Svendettee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Svendettee connects with a nice looking jab.
Svendettee stuns Grylls with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
