#R1# Sheridan misses with an uppercut. Wolf saw that one coming.#CL2# Sheridan closes the distance and pushes Wolf back into the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wolf. #TD2# Sheridan gets a trip takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sheridan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wolf manages to get to full guard.
Wolf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sheridan's guard. #REVR# Wolf landing with the ground and pound. Wolf is working Sheridan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. #SUB# Wolf is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T1##SUB# Wolf thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wolf wants to control from the top but Sheridan keeps moving. Wolf is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sheridan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Wolf throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sheridan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wolf sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sheridan's guard. Sheridan wants to control but Wolf passes into side.
#SUB# Sheridan is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Wolf take his back! Uh oh - Wolf has got a rear naked choke here! Sheridan is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Benito Wolf!
