Warrior takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Conrad Hauser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hauser fakes the leg kick and cracks Warrior in the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Hauser. Warrior does a little dance to reset his feet. Warrior throws a counter combo. Hauser lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hauser lands with a nice body kick. Warrior looks winded! Hauser fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Warrior walks into a left hand. #CUT# It looks like William Warrior has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Warrior misses with a few strikes there.
Strange looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A combination from Warrior does no damage. Strange drops down looking for a counter takedown but Warrior sprawls and moves away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Warrior throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Strange appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right-left combo lands from Warrior. Oh Strange is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! William Warrior is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Warrior throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Warrior dives in looking to finish as Strange flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Warrior's strikes! Warrior is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Strange's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Strange was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Knight shoots in but Warrior avoids the takedown attempt easily. As Knight looks to move away, Warrior throws a big counter combo but Knight just gets out of the way. Knight shoots for a double leg takedown but Warrior sprawls well. He's pushed Knight's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. William Warrior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Knight. Knight goes for a double leg but Warrior avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Warrior continues to drive forward. Warrior went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Warrior misses with a jab, cross combination.

Strange looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Warrior misses with a combination
#TD2# and Strange decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Warrior's guard. Warrior preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Strange working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Warrior wants to stand up but Strange is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warrior trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Strange accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Strange should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#T1# Warrior keeping moving, preventing Strange from controlling successfully. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Warrior stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Warrior's corner calls for a 1-2. Warrior obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
