#R1# Grabowski tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD2# and Jang counters with a single leg into guard. Grabowski didn't expect that. Grabowski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Jang is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jang sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Grabowski's guard. Jang performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Grabowski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jang scores with a couple of nice shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jang controlling the action here. Grabowski has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.#T1# Jang is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. It's a sloppy attempt though and Willauch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Willauch is looking to stand up but Grabowski won't let him. Willauch with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Willauch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willauch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Grabowski for as long as he can get away with. Willauch has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Grabowski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but James has him pressed against the cage. Grabowski wants to take the fight to the mat but James manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from James.
Grabowski jumps guard but James turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Grabowski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as James walks away with a smile on his face. Grabowski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Joe James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Grabowski.#CL# James closes the distance and pushes Grabowski back into the cage. Grabowski is trying to push James away but James has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.#TD# James decides to pull guard. My spies in Hell's Furnace Gym inform me that Grabowski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. That's going to sap some energy.#CL# Snow rushes Grabowski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#TD2# Grabowski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grabowski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grabowski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Snow keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Grabowski's head. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Grabowski holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grabowski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position.
