Very smooth. #SU# Fisherman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lawler to his feet. #TD# Fisherman closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lawler's guard. Lawler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lawler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lawler has control of Fisherman's left arm, preventing Fisherman from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fisherman is taking a break and basically stalling. Fisherman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #SUB2# Johnson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fisherman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Johnson, into his guard. #REVR# Johnson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fisherman is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fisherman is pushing down on Johnson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Johnson is fighting to maintain full guard but Fisherman has managed to sneak the leg through.#SUB# Fisherman is working for a kimura but Johnson is defending it quite comfortably.
