Kickchida misses with a knee to the head. Nelson is trying to break the clinch but Kickchida has him pressed against the cage. Nelson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Nelson jumps guard but Kickchida turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kickchida lands a knee to the body.
Nice elbow from Kickchida. #CUT2# It looks like Jewell Nelson has been cut. Kickchida stalling in the clinch but Nelson improves position. #TD# Nelson manages to pull guard.
Kickchida wants to stand but Nelson is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Nelson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kickchida should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Nelson has tightened it up now! #R1##TD2# Jogan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jogan lands in his opponent's guard.#ES# Nelson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jogan has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#BC2# Jogan breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Jogan drives through with a takedown into guard. #ES# Nelson has his feet on Jogan's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#TD2# Jogan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nelson is trying to defend but Jogan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jogan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nelson's head. Nelson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jogan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jogan's back! Nelson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Jogan's body.
Nelson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nelson is hanging on to Jogan's back as he tries to escape.

There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#SUB# Nelson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jogan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Nelson doesn't care though - he's delighted!

#R1##TD2# Nelson tries to sprawl but Crack Corn And I Dont drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nelson wants to get back to full guard. Crack Corn And I Dont takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Crack Corn And I Dont working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nelson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crack Corn And I Dont on the ground. Crack Corn And I Dont seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson wants to control but Crack Corn And I Dont is keeping busy.

#R1# Nelson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gotti Jr to score with a decent uppercut. Horrible takedown attempt by Nelson or perhaps it was just good defense by Gotti Jr, which made it look bad. Gotti Jr feints the counter takedown. Nelson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gotti Jr as he avoids it easily. Rico Gotti Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gotti Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nelson counters with a three punch combo that has Gotti Jr backing up. Gotti Jr nods at Nelson to acknowledge the strikes.#TD2# Gotti Jr shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nelson napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Nelson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#CL2# Gotti Jr clinches up with Nelson and pushes him back against the cage.#TD2# Gotti Jr decides to pull guard. #SU# Nelson stands up from guard. It looked like Nelson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#CL2# Dante darts in and clinches Nelson up against the cage. Nelson is looking for a takedown. Nelson misses with a punch to the body.

We're now in half guard.#SUB# Nelson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB2# Trynow looking for submissions off his back. Trynow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Trynow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Trynow has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nelson doesn't defend quickly enough and Trynow has managed to lock this one up! Can Nelson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Trynow on a fantastic submission victory.
