#R1# Komamura displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santos Jr. Komamura throws a low kick but it's checked well by Santos Jr. A lazy left from Komamura finds it's target. Santos Jr misses with a body kick. A left and a right from Komamura both land. Nice combination. Komamura leaves Santos Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. It looked like Komamura wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Santos Jr connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos Jr walks into a jab. Jab, jab by Komamura - just one landing. Santos Jr tries to clinch but Komamura moves away and Komamura counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Santos Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Komamura.#T1# Komamura throws a right and a left that both miss. Santos Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Komamura counters with a three punch combo that has Santos Jr backing up. Santos Jr nods at Komamura to acknowledge the strikes. Sajin Komamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bj Santos Jr. Komamura swings away with a leg kick that misses. Santos Jr shoots in for a takedown but Komamura shows good takedown defense. Sajin Komamura is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Santos Jr shoots for a takedown but Komamura saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Komamura looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Santos Jr misses with an uppercut
and Komamura counters with a stiff right hand. Santos Jr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Komamura connects with the punch. Santos Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Komamura but Komamura pushes him off and we're back to square one. An attempted straight right counter from Komamura misses the target.#T2# Santos Jr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Komamura swivels and escapes. Komamura misses with a leg kick. Santos Jr misses the shot to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Komamura lands a jab. Bj Santos Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Komamura throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Santos Jr on the side of the head. Santos Jr throws out a loose jab but Komamura uses good head movement to avoid it. Santos Jr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Komamura pinned against the cage. Komamura gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Santos Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown and Komamura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#T3# Santos Jr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
#ROC# Santos Jr is rocked! and Komamura counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Santos Jr! He's just covering up as Komamura starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

#R1# Santos Jr has a takedown stuffed. Santos Jr tries to clinch up. A jab from Komamura does it's job there. Santos Jr fails with the takedown and Santos Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Komamura throws a one two combo.
Santos Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
As Santos Jr looks to move away, Komamura throws a big counter combo but Santos Jr just gets out of the way. Komamura's corner calls for a 1-2. Komamura obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Komamura misses with a wild combination.
Santos Jr looks for a takedown but Komamura sprawls well. Sajin Komamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bj Santos Jr. Santos Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#T1# Left hook, right uppercut from Komamura. Komamura avoids the head kick by Santos Jr.
Komamura throws a big counter combination but Santos Jr scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Some wild striking there from Komamura.
Santos Jr is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sajin Komamura is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Santos Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Komamura manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Santos Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nice sprawl there from Komamura as Santos Jr shoots in. It looked like Komamura wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Komamura is looking to chop away at Santos Jr's legs. Komamura lands a jab. Santos Jr drops his hands momentarily and Komamura takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #ROC# Santos Jr is rocked!#T2# Komamura is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Komamura misses with a double jab
and Bowers counters with a flying knee. Nice. Komamura tries to score with a low kick but Bowers moves his leg out of the way. Komamura moves into range and connects with a jab. Komamura connects with a combination that backs up Bowers into the cage. Komamura lands a flurry of punches that gets past Bowers's guard. Bowers is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Komamura bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
