Icecapades displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wiener. Icecapades doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Icecapades lands a slapping body shot.

TupperII displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wiener. Wiener manages to retain guard. TupperII postures up in Wiener's guard and throws a big left but Wiener blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vanna is taking a breather. Wiener says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#T1# Let's hope that Vanna has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Glebov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wiener sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Glebov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wiener on the ground. Wiener is working to avoid the ground and pound but Glebov connects with a decent elbow. Wiener is trying to improve his position. Nice straight punches there by Genocide. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Genocide. Wiener ducks right into an uppercut from Genocide. Genocide throws a sloppy head kick and Wiener moves out of range easily. Wiener seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Genocide scores with a spinning back kick! Genocide takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wiener is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Genocide. Genocide lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wiener checks the leg kick. As Genocide tries to get set, Wiener tries to push him back and clinch up but Genocide manages to avoid the attempt. A decent looking body kick lands there for Genocide. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wiener works his way into full mount! Wiener controlling from the full mount. Genocide felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Genocide is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wiener throwing strikes here but Genocide is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
