#R1# Laranja has a takedown stuffed. Laranja fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A slapping body kick lands there for Collins. Nice sprawl there from Collins as Laranja shoots in. Eric Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabricio Laranja. Laranja shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Collins pinned against the cage. Collins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Collins misses with a double jab.
Laranja fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Collins drives through with a takedown into guard. #SUB2# Collins stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Laranja has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Collins manages to get his head free but now Laranja has transitioned to an armbar! Collins grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Laranja! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

#R1##CL2# Packalen darts in and clinches Laranja up against the cage.#TD2# Packalen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Laranja can't fight it off and eventually Packalen manages to take the fight to the floor. Laranja looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Packalen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #SUB# Packalen lying in Laranja's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Laranja decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Packalen taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1##TD# Kape looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Laranja has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Know Squat. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Laranja is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kape's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kape's back!#SUB2# Laranja is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kape has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Laranja has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kape taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Laranja doesn't care though - he's delighted!

#R1# A nice inside leg kick there by Calcavecchia. That's going to slow Laranja down. Laranja has a takedown stuffed. Laranja shoots in looking for a takedown but Calcavecchia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Laranja's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Calcavecchia moves out of range as Laranja strikes.#TD2# Calcavecchia looking to score a takedown here. Laranja is defending well but Calcavecchia drives through and ends up in Laranja's guard.#SUB# Calcavecchia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Laranja has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Calcavecchia has managed to get both his arms back between Laranja's legs - danger averted. Calcavecchia wanted to stand there but Laranja had control of the position. #SUB# Laranja is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Calcavecchia slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.#T4# Calcavecchia remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Calcavecchia trying to control the position but Laranja is working away. #SUB2# Calcavecchia wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Laranja, who protects the arm well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Laranja gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Julio Calcavecchia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Calcavecchia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Laranja had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. #TD# Carvalho shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Carvalho is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carvalho's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#SUB2# Laranja is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carvalho pulls his head out easily. #T1##SU# Carvalho stands up out of the half guard. #TD# Carvalho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. #R1# Laranja gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McKane. McKane ducks down and throws a hook to the body. McKane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Laranja misses with a takedown attempt letting McKane counter with a right hand. Laranja takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.#ROC# Laranja is rocked! Laranja takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Laranja is still on wobbly legs! Can McKane finish him? Laranja looks winded! McKane lands a slapping body shot.
McKane ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Laranja's jaw. Laranja's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! McKane does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The Omen digs a right hand into Laranja's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Laranja's gas tank. The Omen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Laranja backwards. The Omen lands a hook that snaps the head of Laranja backwards. A nice right hand lands inside from The Omen. The Omen lands a nice shot to the body. The Omen pushes Laranja back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. #TD2# Laranja is trying to trip The Omen. He has hold of a leg but The Omen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Laranja persists though and gets the takedown into guard. My spies in Know Squat inform me that Laranja has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The Omen wants to stand up but Laranja is controlling him. The Omen keeping moving, preventing Laranja from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Laranja doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ross counters with a two punch combo. Fabricio Laranja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laranja has his takedown stuffed and Ross counters with a series of strikes. Laranja will be more careful next time no doubt. #T2##CL# Ross rushes Laranja and presses him up against the cage.#TD# Ross has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Laranja regains guard immediately. Ross is taking a break and basically stalling.
