It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ward defends it well. #SUB# Turturro is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ward tries to roll over but Turturro keeps him under control. Ward gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! #SUB# Turturro goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ward is on top in guard.

Silva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ward. Silva is staying tight to Ward's torso, preventing him from escaping. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh Ward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ward misses with a double jab.

#R1# Ward has a takedown stuffed. Gleeson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ward back to the cage. Gleeson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A swing and a miss from Gleeson. Gleeson swings for the body but Ward moves out of range.
Ward drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gleeson sprawls and moves away. Ward shoots in and drives through. Gleeson sprawls well. Gleeson misses with a double jab.
Gleeson lands a front kick. Ward shoots in for a takedown but Gleeson shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Ward. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ward takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ward fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ward is looking to counter the offense by Gleeson and move into the clinch. Ward takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gleeson lands a leg kick that knocks Ward off balance momentarily. Ward changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gleeson tries to avoid it but Ward manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gleeson to the ground. Gleeson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gleeson lands a jab to the head.
Donk. Gleeson catches Ward right on the button with a cross. Ward doesn't manage to clinch there - Gleeson circles away.
A little jabbing left from Gleeson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ward throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gleeson tries a head kick but it misses.
#T3# Ward tries for a takedown but Gleeson circles away easily and Gleeson counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Gleeson looks at the referee who does nothing so Gleeson lands a crushing right that sends Ward to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
