#R1##CL2# Miller instigates a clinch. Miller is trying to pull guard but Hugs turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hugs tries a body shot but Miller blocks it.
Hugs can't find room to land a body shot as Miller controls the action.
Miller is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hugs. Miller blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#TD2# Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hugs uses from the top position. Hugs stays in close to Miller's body and controls the position. Hugs tries to free his leg and advance position but Miller is retaining full guard. Hugs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hugs controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hugs scoring with punches to the head and body. #SUB# Hugs drops back looking for a leg! Miller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miller manages to kick Hugs off! Hugs jumps back into Miller's guard. #T1# Hugs slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hugs's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hugs stands up over Miller, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hugs is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hugs seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with. Hugs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hugs slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hugs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hugs working the ground and pound from side control. Hugs controlling from side mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T3# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Miller tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hugs just content to control the position. Hugs working the head and body with strikes. #T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. You can see the frustration on Miller's face as Hugs controls the position. Hugs lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Miller down.
Hugs in side control lands a decent elbow. Hugs scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Miller to see if he's OK. Hugs in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Hugs is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Miller will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hugs working the body and head with strikes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller is trying to escape the position but Hugs is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miller should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Miller trying to control here.

Hugs seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We've been hearing good reports from Hugs's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Hugs landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hugs keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Lodzov Hugs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T2# Hugs has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Miller taking some punishment here, with Hugs in his half guard. Hugs is taking a breather. Miller says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Hugs working the head and body with strikes. Hugs keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#T3# Hugs lands strikes from half guard. Hugs with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. Hugs frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hugs controlling the position easily from mount. #T4# Hugs landing punches. Hugs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hugs lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Miller hang on? Hugs lands a big shot there that rocks Miller but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hugs unloading with bombs!#ROC# Miller is rocked! A nice elbow there by Hugs. Miller is still in real trouble! Can Hugs finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hugs pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hugs unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Miller wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hugs celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

#R1# Thompson throws a series of strikes that have Miller backpedaling.
Thompson misses with a straight left. Thompson just misses with a punch to the body.
Thompson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Miller tries for a takedown but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Miller moves to clinch but Thompson breaks away and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Thompson lands with an uppercut that bounces Miller off the cage and back into range. Thompson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miller momentarily.
#ROC# Miller is rocked! Thompson ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Miller out cold! The fight is over!

#R1# Miller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mayhem connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miller momentarily.
Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mayhem looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Mayhem pushes him off. Mayhem fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Mayhem tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mayhem manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mayhem lunges at Miller with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Miller's hand. Mayhem scores with a punch to the head. Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mayhem counters with a right hand to the body. Mayhem works Miller's body with a nice hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#TD# Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mayhem sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mayhem keeps working. #T1# Mayhem wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Mayhem looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Miller wants to control but Mayhem is keeping him busy. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.#SUB# Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mayhem trying to control from the bottom.
Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mayhem wants to get back to full guard. Mayhem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mayhem defending well though. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mayhem dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mayhem defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T3# Mayhem looks to land a combination. Miller sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Miller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mayhem connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miller scrambles back to his feet. A shot to the liver by Mayhem. Beautiful body shot. Mayhem lands a jab to the head.
Dan Mayhem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller tries to move into range but Mayhem moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Mayhem connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Mayhem stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mayhem wants it to stay on the feet. Mayhem lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mayhem gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Miller is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
