#R1# Henry misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#TD2# Arcane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Henry is trying to defend but Arcane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Arcane looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Arcane drops an elbow to the side of Henry's head. Arcane working the head and body with strikes. Henry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arcane on the ground. Arcane is looking to take a break and control but Henry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Arcane works his foot free and advances to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arcane lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Arcane lands a big shot to the head and Henry winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

#R1# Merel lands with a shot to the body. Merel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Merel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Good shot there by Merel. A head kick misses from Henry. Henry on the wrong end of a nice jab. Henry fails to land the takedown. Henry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Merel avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Merel drives through and clinches with Henry against the cage.

Henry seems to have got his legs back now. A short uppercut from Merel. Merel lands a big right hand that drops Henry! The killer instinct kicks in and Merel finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Merel!

#R1# Roger's corner calls for a 1-2. Roger obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Henry throws a jab when Roger was well out of range. Henry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Roger. A combination from Roger does no damage. A little feinted left hand from Henry on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A telegraphed right hand from Roger misses the target. Henry throws a big shot that misses. Henry closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #TD# Henry shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Roger looking to control.
Henry trying to control but Roger is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Roger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Henry defends well. Roger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Henry. Roger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Roger wants to stand but Henry is controlling the position. Roger told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.#T1# Roger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henry's guard. #REVB##SUB# Henry isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Roger stacks Henry on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Roger! Roger is looking to take a break and control but Henry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Henry is looking to regain half guard here but Roger keeps moving and retains side control. #SU2# Roger stands up and beckons Henry to his feet. Henry is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

A nice side step and Roger releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!#T2# Henry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Roger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henry shoots in for a takedown but Roger shows good takedown defense. Henry shoots in but no luck this time. Roger lands a jab to Henry's midsection. Roger tests Henry's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Roger misses. Roger lands a jab. Roger lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Henry can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Roger and Henry drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Roger.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dean Roger! After winning the bout, Dean Roger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
