#CUT# It looks like Denton Daley has been cut.#CL# Abendroth clinches. Daley makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Abendroth wants to break free but Daley has control.
Daley lands a hook to the side of the head. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Daley stalling.
Daley scores with a shoulder strike. Abendroth trying to land knees to the body.

A left hand lands to the body for Daley.
Daley lands on the inside with an uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Abendroth leaning against his opponent.
Daley lands a right hand. Abendroth wants to break free but Daley has control.
A short uppercut from Daley. #T1# Abendroth tries to land knees in the clinch but Daley avoids the damage to the body. Daley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A shot in the inside from Daley. A short right hand to the side of the head by Daley.#ROC2# Abendroth is rocked! Daley creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Abendroth crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Abendroth face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Daley takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Denton Daley! Denton Daley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

#R1# Abendroth throws a series of punches but Araujo moves out of range. Araujo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abendroth misses with a takedown attempt #CL2# and Araujo counters by moving into the clinch. Abendroth jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Araujo walks away with a smile on his face. Abendroth gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Abendroth shoots in looking for a takedown but Araujo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Abendroth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Abendroth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abendroth is trying hard to land a takedown here. Araujo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Araujo. #TD2# Araujo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Araujo wants to control but Abendroth is keeping him busy. #SUB2# Araujo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Abendroth is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Araujo yanks on the arm and Abendroth is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Araujo.
